Join scholar, literary translator, and Associate Professor of Middle Eastern Studies Jonathan Smolin for a talk with Dartmouth Libraries about his recent work on Ihsan Abdel Kouddous, the 20th century's most popular and prolific Arabic fiction author.
During this talk, Prof. Smolin will discuss his translation process, his research, and the ways the two converge. The talk will be followed by a Q&A.
