Through this program, Dartmouth students of Arabic will be paired with Moroccan
university partners—bright, motivated students who bring strong intercultural
communication skills and deep knowledge of Moroccan culture and the Arabic
language.
These one-on-one conversations provide Dartmouth learners with a valuable
opportunity to practice Arabic regularly, build confidence, and enhance proficiency
beyond the classroom.
By connecting directly with peers in Morocco, participants gain:
• Consistent, real Arabic language practice
• Insight into contemporary Moroccan life, culture, and student perspectives
• Cross-cultural communication skills
• Meaningful relationships that enrich academic and personal growth
Please note that this program is only open to current Dartmouth students who are
either enrolled in Arabic or have previously taken Arabic at Dartmouth.
