Middle Eastern Studies and Jewish Studies Celebrate the Achievements of our Graduating Students.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Middle Eastern Studies Class of 2025! This year, the Middle Eastern Studies and Jewish Studies programs hosted a joint reception to honor our graduating students and their remarkable accomplishments.

During the reception, the following prizes were awarded to honor exceptional scholarship and service within our programs:

Pray Language Prize in Middle Eastern Languages and Literature

Awarded to students for outstanding growth and contributions in language and literature studies.

Middle Eastern Studies Thesis Award in Honor of Gene Garthwaite

Awarded for an outstanding Honors Thesis in Middle Eastern Studies.

Awarded to students for academic excellence and community service, recognizing a commitment to peer support, intellectual engagement, and program enrichment.
