Talk by Daniele Genadry
In this talk, Daniele Genadry will contextualize her artistic practice in relation to specific postwar generation Lebanese artists who proposed, through different modes of perception, a means of thinking the prolonged aftermath of the Lebanese civil wars. Presenting a selection of recent works - paintings, photographs and drawings – she will reflect on the problem of representation in relation to presence, and examine how to reveal current regimes and conditions of sight through the process of image-making.
